Expertise

Lost Boys is used by a group of experienced producers, who have made literally thousands of recordings before. Any situation that occurs, has already dealt with & solved in the past. You are in safe hands.

We check, check again.. & keep checking your mixes on a variety of different speaker types, to ensure that they'll sound as good on the radio, as they will in a club, as they will in the car, as they will on myspace.

Pre-production

We come to your rehearsal space to work with you, weeks before you come into the studio. You will also receive the infamous 'Lost Boys Checklist', of things to make sure of, before you come into record. This contains everything from the blindingly obvious (make sure you change your drum skins, buy lots of spare strings), to things that even seasoned pros can forget.

Pre-production & preparation make for a relaxed & confident recording session, & are *key* to a successful end result.

Releasing records

If you've never released anything before, we can guide you through it all, from physical (shop) distribution including getting that all important BARCODE, to the variety of digital options (itunes, Napster, rhapsody, amazon etc). There's no point in making a great recording if folks can't buy it at the end!
